The Bodyguard First Responder is the ultimate bulletproof backpack that is perfect for everyday carrying. What sets it apart from others in the market is its rapid deploying vest. By simply pulling on the ripcords, a vest will pop out from the bag in seconds to cover your chest and abdomen. On top of that, it contains a level 3A certified plate that protects you from the most common handgun caliber bullets. There is also another plate in the back of the backpack, so you are protected from both the front and the back simultaneously. Furthermore, it has several compartments, including one for a laptop, so it is perfect for carrying with you anywhere at any time, even in an airport or on a plane..

NOTE: This backpack weighs 7 lbs and is 18” high x 14” wide x 6” deep, please make sure this backpack is the appropriate size and weight for you or your child. We strongly suggest you create a cardboard template of the dimensions of this backpack and hold it against the person it is intended for. We offer sizes that will accommodate all! It is also a good idea to approximate the added weight to ensure the person it is intended for can manage it.
NOTE: This contains a Level 3A insert and WILL NOT repel rounds from high caliber rifles like an AR-15.
Level 3A bulletproof armor inserts are designed to repel most common handgun calibers including 9mm, .38 cal, .380 cal or .22 cal bullets, .40 S&W, .357 magnum, and .44 magnum

The Ballistic Protection Levels are as follows:

Level IIIA (3A): (Low) Protects from 40 S&W, .357 SIG, 9MM, .45 ACP, .38 Special, .357 MAG, and the high powered .44 magnum used famously in the movie Dirty Harry. High-level protection from most handguns.

Level III (3): (Medium) Protects from 40 S&W, .357 SIG, 9MM, .45 ACP, .38 Special, .357 MAG, .44 MAG, 7.62x39, 5.56x45 M193, and 7.62x51 M80 Ball. This is real protection, 5.56 is the most common round for the AR platform rifles with the 7.62 NATO being the most common round for the M14.

Level III+ (3+): (High) Protects from 40 S&W, .357 SIG, 9MM, .45 ACP, .38 Special, .357 MAG, .44 MAG, 7.62x39, 5.56x45 M193, 7.62x51 M80 Ball, 5.56x45 M855 and .30-06 JSP for even higher level rifle protection.

Level IV (4): (Highest) Protects from 40 S&W, .357 SIG, 9MM, .45 ACP, .38 Special, .357 MAG, .44 MAG, 7.62x39, 5.56x45 M193, 7.62x51 M80 Ball, 5.56x45 M855 and .30-06 JSP and lastly armor-piercing rifle rated ammo up To .30-06 M2 AP. This is the top protection out there for bulletproof protection.
