While cartridges are affordable, who wants to waste a powerful TASER® cartridge needlessly? Also, if you draw your stun gun in a difficult situation, the last thing you want is to find that it’s not ready to fire. Excessive weight is an important consideration, as it can make your stun gun unwieldy and motivate you to leave it at home when you go out. This defeats the purpose of having it in the first place.
