Recently in New York, a man called the local police department to alert them that a burglar was in his house. It seems he had installed a motion-activated camera that he bought online that sends real-time pictures via e-mail. Isn’t technology wonderful?
The point of the story is to show how effective motion-activated cameras are and they don’t need to be expensive. The Video Patrol Spy Camera is a good example but it is meant for outdoors.
It is completely wireless and is so small that most people might even miss it. It can take 26,000 photos or 75 minutes of video and has an effective range of 23 feet. Some light is required. It will not work in no or low light situations. Position this camera near an entryway, driveway, parking lot and when the infrared sensor detects motion it snaps a video or a picture.
