The Mace® Triple Action™ police model pepper spray offers a superior 12-foot spray range that helps protect from multiple threats with its 20 strong half-second bursts. On top of that, the 18-gram canister contains a 3-in-1 formula that is made with red pepper, tear gas, and an invisible ultraviolet (UV) dye. The red pepper causes the capillaries of the eyes to swell and the eyes to slam shut while the tear gas causes a severe burning sensation to the facial area and tightness of the chest.
